Jo-Ann Gosk

Jo-Ann Gosk, 80, of Oxford and a former 20-year resident  in Newtown, the beloved wife of 57 years of Gene Gosk, died September 22, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in West Rutland, Vt., May 7, 1932, daughter of Ella and Peter Gilligan.

In addition to her beloved husband, her family includes her caring son Eugene J. Gosk, devoted daughters Debra Anderson, and her husband Charles, and Lori-Ann Gies, and her husband James, all of Oxford; three siblings; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson Hunter. She will be greatly missed by her many family members, friends, and especially her caregiver Regina Rogalska.

Mrs Gosk enjoyed watching her beloved Boston Red Sox baseball and UConn Huskies’ basketball teams. She especially loved cheering for her grandchildren at all of their sport games and events. Above all, Mrs Gosk was happiest when she was spending time with her family.

A Mass of Christian took place September 26. Interment was in the family plot at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour.
