Jennifer Logan & Christian Huray

Jennifer Marie Logan and Christian Paul Huray were married on July 22 at St Rose of Lima Church in Newtown by the Rev Robert Kwiatkowski.

The bride is the daughter of Joanne and John Logan of Roxbury, formerly of Newtown.

The bridegroom is the son of Paulette and Ian McDermott of Sandy Hook and John Joseph Huray of Newtown.

Julie Logan, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Kathryn Lowkis and Kristine Schuman, sisters of the bride, Rebecca Schuman, niece of the bride, and Nikki Matthews were bridesmaids. Kristine Lowkis and Kayla Lowkis, nieces of the bride, were junior bridesmaids. Matthew Huray, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. James Forbes, Ted Hughes, Vincent Nitopi, Billy O’Keefe, and Sean Raby were groomsmen.

A reception followed at The Waterview in Monroe.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School and from York College of Pennsylvania in York, Penn., with a bachelor of arts degree in public relations. She is an activation manager at CourseTrends in Austin, Texas.

The bridegroom graduated from Newtown High School and from Vanderbilt University with a master’s in education and from the University of Texas with a master’s of business administration. He is a senior marketing advisor at Dell in Round Rock, Texas.

After a wedding trip to Mexico, they are living in Austin.
