Rock Ridge Country Club golf results from this past week are as follows:

Thursday’s Men’s League: Tim Carr, fired an even par 35 to win with 8 points. In second place was Frank Colavito with 3.5 points.

September One Day Member/Guest: Gross winner for the event with a score of 75 (+5) was Lou Rosamilia and, his guest, Mark Augustauskas. Gross runners-up were Frank Colavito and, his guest, Ken Tremaine with a score of 76 (+6). Net winner was Michael Riccio and, his guest, Steve Hickey with a score of 61 (-9). Riccio also made his first hole-in-one on the ninth hole, which played 145 yards, with his 4 hybrid. Net runners up were Mike Boyle and, his guest, Mike Hilton with a score of 63 (-7).

Ladies President’s Cup and Rock Ridge Cup Finals: The final matches of the season-long ladies championships were held. Jayne Dubraski and Chris Mais beat Pam Campbell and Leslie Trudell 3 and 2 to capture the 2012 President’s Cup. Also, Karen Alexander beat Jayne Dubraski 2 up to capture the Rock Ridge Cup.

Ladies Solheim Cup Event: At the end of the first nine hole matches it was very close with the black team, headed by captain Janet Duffy, leading 6 to 4 over the pewter team, headed by their captain Debby Tendler. The second nine hole matches, though, would determine the champion as the black team started to pull ahead and took a commanding lead and held on to win 16.5 to 8.5.
