Piano Trio Concert, Oct. 7

SOUTHBURY — Pomperaug Woods and The Connecticut Community Foundation will host a free concert by The Cognetta Piano Trio on Sunday, October 7, at 3 pm, at Pomperaug Woods in Wilson Hall.

Members of the trio are violinist Alyce Cognetta Berta, who is concertmaster for Waterbury Symphony Orchestra; pianist Meg Cognetta Heaton, who regularly accompanies choral groups, Suzuki classes and soloists in the Finger Lakes region of New York; and cellist Mihai Marica, who has performed solo and with orchestras around the world.
