Health Fair Prize From Chamber, World Of Bikes

Mike Talarico, owner of Newtown’s World of Bikes, and the Chamber of Commerce of Newtown have donated a Schwinn Sierra Comfort bike as a raffle prize at the 14th Annual Newtown Health & Safety Fair this Saturday, September 29, from 10 am to 2 pm.

The blue and silver, medium-framed bike, valued at $300, can be used for both male and female riders. The World of Bikes is willing to substitute or change the bike if an adjustment is needed for size purposes.

The bike will be raffled at the fair, and anyone attending can enter the raffle at no charge.

This is the eighth year that the chamber has donated a bike to the health and safely fair. Pauline Crisci-Goncalves of Excel Tutoring, Alice Baye of the Newtown chamber, Ann Marie Deweese of Washington Mutual, and Chamber of Commerce of Newtown President Pat Linnell will represent the chamber at the organization’s booth that day.
