Multiple Charges
After responding to a domestic dispute on September 23 at 7 Sand Hill Road, police charged Oscar Alves, 43, of that address, with disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a minor, and criminal attempt to commit first-degree arson, police said. Police held Alves on $25,000 bail for a September 24 court arraignment on the charges.
Credit Card
Sometime between 7:15 and 8:45 am on September 21, someone entered an unlocked vehicle on the Fairfield Hills grounds and stole items from it including a credit card, police said. That credit card was illegally used after the theft, according to police. Police are investigating the burglary/theft and ask anyone with information on the matter to contact them at 426-5841.
Brookfield Man
Police said they received a report on September 24 that Mark Taylor 41, of Brookfield was allegedly harassing a local resident and had trespassed onto that residentâs property.
Police said they located Taylor at Edmond Town Hall several hours later and arrested him on charges of second-degree harassment and third-degree criminal trespassing.
After he posted $100 bail, police released Taylor for an October 10 court appearance.
Main Street Crash
About 8:13 am September 24, motorist Delsha Thompson, 38, of Windsor, who was driving a 1992 Toyota sedan southward on Main Street, stopped for traffic conditions and was struck from behind by southbound motorist Roseanne Baranowski, 45, of Church Hill Road, who was driving a 1997 Chrysler sedan, police said.
There were no injuries. Baranowski received a written warning for following too closely, according to police.
