Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary

Mr and Mrs Carl Beck of Newtown recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party given by their children.

The couple married on September 12, 1953. They have four children, Karen Kayfus of Southbury, Kathi Beck of Watertown, Randy Beck of Covington, Ky., and Jon Beck of Woodbury.

The also have four grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, Rachel and Jonathan, and two great-grandchildren, Sanya and Matthew.

Mrs Beck is the former Lois Waehler.
