Katherine    Paproski

Katherine Paproski, age 90, wife of the late Felix Paproski of Newtown, died September 19 in Danbury Hospital.

Mrs Paproski was born in Easton, Penn., July 25, 1913, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Kondratiw. She moved with her family to the Newtown area as a young woman, and she was a longtime resident of the Dodgingtown section of Newtown.

Mrs Paproski was an employee of Davis and Geck Company in Danbury for more than 25 years. She was a longtime member of St Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Bridgeport and a member of the Sisterhood of the Church. She was a member of the Dodgingtown Volunteer Fire Company Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, James Paproski of Newtown, a daughter, Betty Hoffman of Landenberg, Penn., seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marion O’Lena.

Funeral services were held September 23 at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, and at St Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Bridgeport. Interment was in St John’s Cemetery, Stratford.
