Don't Accuse Newtown's Youth
Donât Accuse Newtownâs Youth
To the Editor:
In response to the letter from the woman expressing her anger about the graffiti on the new bridge, I found some of her words to be extremely prejudiced. She refers to those responsible as âstupid kidsâ and referring to the parents of the kids as âclueless to their childrenâs actions.â
Being a sophomore in high school, those kinds of words were directed at me and my friends, as if we were responsible for this. I think Mrs Lippman should take some time and think about the other possibilities before she accuses Newtownâs youth.
