Community Road Race

The Fraser-Woods School in Newtown will host a one-mile community road race on Sunday, September 21. There will be four races – adult male, adult female, boys and girls (children’s races are for ages 14 and under) – that will start at the back driveway to the school. It is a USATF sanctioned course. Race fee is $10 (race day registration only) and first 50 entrants will receive a race t-shirt. Medals will go to the top five places. On-site babysitting (in enclosed school playground) will be available free of charge. A shuttle bus will run from recycle center of Stop & Shop to the school beginning at 7 am.
