Carol Reilleyâs Special Vision
WOODBURY â Fine Line Art Gallery will offer during the next month a special solo art show featuring the paintings of artist Carol Reilley. Mrs Reilley has been working in watercolor and oil throughout her career. The show, âSpecial Vision,â features all new work and includes many landscapes from her travels to Europe and throughout the United States.
This past year has been a real celebration for Mrs Reilley: She achieved juried membership into the CT Watercolor Society, the Northeast Watercolor Society and the renowned New York Art Club Salmagundi. She is closing the year having received a special award from the North East Watercolor Society.
Mrs Reilley paints and lives in Newtown, where she and her husband moved in 1991.
The public is invited to join Mrs Reilley at Fine Line Art Gallery, 586 Main Street South in Woodbury, for a special artist reception planned for Saturday, October 11, from 2 to 6 pm. Live jazz will be performed by The Duane Reilley Trio, featuring bassist Bill Crow and pianist David Childs in addition to saxophonist Duane Reilley. The exhibit, which opens on October 2, will remain on view until October 26.
