WATERBURY – Teikyo Post University’s Equine Resources Committee has invited Lynn Corrigan from Maine, a certified John Lyons instructor, to demonstrate this method of horse training at Thunder Ridge in Litchfield on Sunday, October 21.

Many horse people have been amazed at the results achieved by this innovative training method. It is now being used successfully all over the world to rehabilitate, re-train and start horses without any force or confusion.

Lynn Corrigan is a 1998 graduate of the John Lyons Certification Course. At 17 years old, she was the youngest student John has ever accepted. Since graduating, Lynn has worked with a wide variety of horses including show, dressage, trail, draft, wild mustangs, and police horses throughout New England and beyond.

The demonstration will be held in the indoor arena at Thunder Ridge, 231 Beach Street, Litchfield at 1:00 pm (doors open at 12:30 pm). Admission is $5 in advance or $10 at the door. Proceeds will benefit Teikyo Post University’s Equine Scholarship Fund.

For information, contact Carole Baker at 203-596-4631 or via e-mail at CBaker@teikyopost.edu.

Also, on Friday, November 16th, Nedda Wittels, an animal communicator from Simsbury will be on the Teikyo Post University campus presenting Ask The Animals, which gives insights into her experiences in communicating with animals large and small (No Animals, Please).
