Christopher Plummer:

One Night, One Man

WESTPORT — Christopher Plummer will perform his one-man show A Word or Two, Before You Go as a special matinee to benefit Westport Country Playhouse on Sunday, October 14 at 3 pm, at the playhouse.

Written, arranged and performed by Mr Plummer, the show is a personal stroll through the literature he loves the most, encompassing “everything from Winnie the Pooh to the Old Testament.” The New York Times named Mr Plummer “the finest classical actor in North America” and The London Observer has dubbed him “a consummate actor – a natural successor to Olivier.”

Mr Plummer, a member of the artistic advisory council of Westport Country Playhouse, is donating his time for the special performance. Event proceeds will provide support for the playhouse and its revitalized artistic mission,
