Newtown High School's girls' volleyball team posted a 3-0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-16) victory on the road against the Bunnell of Stratford Bulldogs on September 23.

The Nighthawks compiled 25 aces led by 15 from Natalie Horn. Veronica Kroha, Maggie McInerney, and Kira Smith each added a trio of aces, and Genevieve Murray added an ace.

Sarah Nowacki had five kills and three digs, and Amanda Arujo and Kate Petersen each added four kills.

Newtown, following Wednesday's match with Bethel, will host Immaculate of Danbury on Friday, September 27; the match is set to begin at 5:30 pm.
