To the Editor:

The Newtown-Strong Therapy Dogs, a strictly-local group of certified therapy dogs and their handler/owners, are thrilled be among the honored guests of SHOP’s October 12th Passport To Sandy Hook day.

We have heard so many great things about SHOP’s past years’ Passport to Sandy Hook, so we are especially looking forward to participating in this year’s event. Therapy dog Libby, and our therapy puppy, Ti amo, already started getting ready by going out to meet many of the Sandy Hook merchants as we helped distribute Passport flyers.

Libby and puppy Ti amo live in Sandy Hook, along with many of their fellow therapy dog members, and we want to invite all of our friends, neighbors and families, near and far, to join us in our beautiful, quaint Village, to thoroughly experience Sandy Hook … come listen to local live music, stroll through our many interesting shops, have a bite to eat, and pet a therapy dog while you’re at it!
