To the Editor:

On Saturday, October 5th, our town will hold a referendum to accept funding to rebuild Sandy Hook School. As we look to bring home our Sandy Hook School community, it is critical to have a school building that will allow them to stay together. It is important that we all play a role in this process as it affects the entire community.

Connecticut State government representatives have generously decided to pay for this project entirely with state funds. Accepting this funding will allow the town of Newtown to once again be made whole. The Board of Education would like you to join us in supporting the acceptance of this gift of a new school from the State on Saturday, October 5th.

Voting will take place at the Middle School between the hours of 6 am and 8 pm. Please join us in voting Yes.
