Six Septembers have come and gone,

Many days where some nights are long.

No point to run, nor to hide,

From an emptiness nestled deep inside.

However the light grows brighter now,

You the figurehead, us the prow.

So we give thanks so very much,

Your legacy transcends all you touched.

Enriching our lives throughout the days, your presence with us for always.
