Dr Nancy Lee Schulz, 63, died September 15. Born August 28, 1946, in New Haven, she was the daughter of Frances Tucker and the late Irwin W. Tucker of Fairfield. She was a longtime resident of Newtown.

Dr Schulz is survived by her husband of 23 years, Marcus Schulz; her daughter, Leah Frank; son, Marcus Twain Schulz; and two grandchildren. Her siblings include John Tucker of Bridgeport, Betsy Tucker of Fairfield, Jane Tucker of California, and the late Bill Tucker. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.

Nancy Lee Schulz was awarded a PhD in psychology from California Coast College in 2002. She was a published author. Her creative zest for life was expressed through her writing, painting, poetry, music, sewing, beadwork, copper work, and sculpture. She exhibited her artwork in various galleries in the New England area.
