Destroying Our Country

To the Editor:

I sent a letter to our two senators and Representative Murphy June 19, all three of these letters stating the following: “You and your colleagues intentionally or unintentionally are destroying our country.” I have never felt before that who won would do real harm to our country. I went to the town hall meeting at Shepaug Valley High School in Washington, Conn. It holds 500 and it was standing room only. I was about the eighth person to ask a question. I first quoted from my letter of June 19 and received an applaud that was long. I spoke to say something like “please stop, this is to communicate with our representatives” and I told that Chris Murphy was the only one that answers.

The President said, “It’s time to stop fighting (and start voting).” Does he consider discussions on how to do up a better law fighting? He also is promoting class warfare as Rep Chris Murphy does, or does he know how much words mean? Quote from his letter to me dated July 15, 2009: “I helped pass the largest single tax cut to middle class families.” It seems we have classes in the USA. I am sure he meant income. The misuse of words is it intentional? I believe it promotes class warfare, isn’t that a big reason we had the War for Independence?

The President wants universal health care, I do too, but our own government is destroying free enterprise system.

Free enterprise system is the goose that keeps laying golden eggs and the goose is being killed by a plan to have the larger and influence ones make more money by being in the government plan making more money while knowingly or unknowingly making government more and more in control of us, not vice versa.

It is fundamentality the same as was done by Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Peron, Castro and more. In the campaign last year I heard Obama say something like this: We need a civilian defense core larger than the military. My immediate reaction its Hitler’s Gestapo. Can anyone tell me why he said what he said? It does not make any sense to me. I’ve heard a little of our President’s speech to the United Nations on the radio driving here and he speaks well but what does the words used mean to you, to the enemies of the USA and to other free nations.

Sincerely,

Paul E. Allen
