Book Donation Day At Library

“Old Mother Hubbard, Went to the Cupboard, To get her poor doggie a bone; When she got there, the cupboard….” was full of gently used books no longer read by Mother Hubbard or her family. If this is the situation at your home, The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library hope to see you on Book Donation Day.

“Donations are down for next year’s annual book sale,” explained volunteer Toni Earnshaw. Last year’s Book Donation Day was so successful, the group has decided to hold one again. Donations of books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, and LPs can be taken to 25 Main Street between noon and 5 pm on Sunday, October 18. Volunteers will help carry books for those who need assistance, and arrangements can be made to pick up large donations. Tax receipts are available.

Donations can also be dropped off at the library during regular hours. For more information, call 426-4537.
