Pasta Dinner & Coffee House AT NUMC, October 7

The next Saturday pasta dinner at Newtown United Methodist Church in Sandy Hook will be October 7. All proceeds of this dinner are used for the repayment of funds loaned for Wesley Hall.

The public is cordially invited to join church members for what has become an evening of fellowship and community spirit.

Dinner is served from 5 to 7:30 pm, with donation being $8 per adult, $7 for seniors, and $3.50 for children. Gift certificates are available.

Dinner includes fruit cup, salad with choice of dressings, pasta with choice of sauces (meatless, mild, or spicy), garlic bread, and an array of homemade desserts. Soft drinks and tea or coffee are also included.

The pasta dinner wraps up at 7:30 pm, and is followed from 7:45 to 10:30 pm by NUMC Coffee House. Music is performed by Newtown’s own world-class bluegrass player, Roger Sprung, who is joined by equally talented musicians. Additional desserts are available during the coffee house.

Donation for the coffee house is $3 for those who have joined the pasta dinner portion of the evening, and $4 otherwise.

All events are held in the lower community room of Newtown United Methodist Church, with entry from the rear parking lot. The church is at 92 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook. Call 426-9998 for additional information.
