The business and Professional Women of Newtown will present âSmart Women Finish Richâ at the Monday, October 4, meeting at 707 on Main restaurant in Monroe.
The meeting is open to the public as well as BPW members. Jean Leonard of American Express Financial Services will be conducting the seminar. A dynamic speaker, Ms Leonard presents these fun and educational seminars that are designed specifically for women.
The seminar is based on the best selling book of the same name by David Bach. During the seminar participants will learn how to put money where their values are and figure out where they stand financially. Participants will discover how to save money and build a financial basket for retirement, security, and to fulfill dreams.
Jean Leonard owns her own financial advisory branch of American Express. Her services include personal financial planning for retirement, asset allocation, investments, taxes, estate preservation, and risk protection.
Networking begins at 6 pm. Dinner will be at 6:30 pm. Entrée choices include chicken and brie, shogun salmon, or penne a la vodka. Reservations, including entrée choice, are due by Friday, October 1, by calling Kelly Urso, 364-1667. The cost for the dinner and program will be $25.
The Newtown Business and Professional Womenâs Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes the interests of business and professional women, providing them with an opportunity for networking.
