Single Life Support Group Forming

WASHINGTON GREEN — New Beginnings of Northwest Connecticut is taking reservations for its next Single Life Support Group, which begins Thursday, October 7, at 7 pm, and will meet for ten weeks. The group meets at First Congregational Church of Washington, at 6 Kirby Road.

This group is designed for people who are beyond the initial crisis of a divorce and looking to begin life anew. It is also intended for those never married or those who are widowed and facing the challenge of starting over after the loss of a life partner.

Together participants search for new meanings and purposes in life. It is a closed group after the second week.

This support group is led by experienced lay facilitators, and discussion topics are selected by group members.
