Internationally known speaker Norm Bossio launches this year’s series of Parent Connection forum with, “How to Remain Calm on the Titanic: Secrets to Successful Parenting” on Tuesday, September 28, from 7 to 9 pm at Newtown Middle School.

Mr Bossio, a former teacher, assistant principal, principal and superintendent of schools, promises to deliver a program filled with laughter while providing valuable ideas and suggestions for parents of children of all ages and in all stages.

His presentations are rich with personal anecdotes.

Recently, he was offered a speaking engagement abroad on October 31. He declined, stating, “No. I’m going to be Spider-Man that night!”

Value and commitment to family is an integral part of Mr Bossio’s character.

The father and grandfather received a bachelor of arts degree from Springfield College in Springfield, Mass and a masters in education from Boston State College.

Among his teaching and administrative experience was his eight years of service as an adjunct professor at Stone Hill College, a Catholic university in Easton, Mass.
