Provost, Wright Join Savings Bank of Danbury
Kenneth Provost has joined the Savings Bank of Danbury as the vice president controller.
Mr Provost will be responsible for managing financial reporting and accounting functions. He has more than 13 years of banking experience.
Prior to joining the Savings Bank of Danbury, he served as vice president â financial planning and analysis at BankNorth Group and previously as unit manager at Fleet Boston Financial.
Mr Provost graduated with a master of business administration from Boston University and from Bentley College with a bachelor of science degree.
Laurie Wright has joined the bank as a mortgage originator. In this position, Ms Wright will be responsible for originating mortgages in the greater Danbury area.
Prior to joining the Savings Bank of Danbury, she was CEO/CFO and owner of Clarke Sign Systems in Bethel. In addition, she has more than 15 years of commercial lending experience in the greater Danbury area.
She has been a member of the United Way of Northern Fairfield County Board of Directors for 16 years and a former member of the board of directors of the American Red Cross. She holds a master of business administration degree from the University of Bridgeport.
