Political Cartoons At The Bushnell

HARTFORD — The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts’ Promenade Gallery will present an exhibit titled “75 Years of Presidential Humor from the collection of the Museum of American Political Life” from October 5 until November 14.

The exhibit showcases the collection based at the University of Hartford. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 7, from 5 to 6:30 pm. The reception is free and open to the public.

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of The Bushnell, the exhibit includes cartoons from every Presidency from Herbert Hoover to the current day. The exhibit was curated by Dr Edmund Sullivan, Marianne Curling and Dr Randi Ashton-Pritting.
