NHS Slates Annual College Fair

Newtown High School will hold its annual college fair on Tuesday, October 5, from 7 to 9 pm in the Newtown High School gymnasium.

More than 110 colleges will be attending, including the University of Connecticut at Storrs, all four schools in the Connecticut State University system, Naugatuck Valley Community College, the Citadel (for those interested in the armed services), Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y., Harvard University in Boston, Mass., Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y., and Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Families of students in grades 9 through 12, especially juniors, are encouraged to attend.
