Deming String Quartet Concert

DANBURY — Danbury Music Centre will present its first recital of the new season on Saturday, October 9, at 8 pm.

The Deming String Quartet will perform “Ancient, Recent and In-Between – A Living Museum.” Members are Larry Deming on and Alison Breisler on violin; Gisela Schenck on viola, and Jordan Jancz on cello. Special guest percussionist Matt Moadel will be performing on the dumbek, djembe and other exotic drums.

The recital will include performances of music from Greek antiquity, European gothic and classical periods, modern folk dances of the world, and group improvisations and compositions by Mr Deming.

Admission is free.
