Campus Notes

Jeannette Smith of Sandy Hook has been selected to participate in the National Young Leaders Conference (NYLC) in Washington, D.C., from November 16 to 21. NYLC is a unique leadership development program for high school students who have demonstrated leadership potential and scholastic merit.

Victoria Filler, daughter of Michael and Joyce Filler, began her first year at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y., as part of the Class of 2008. 

Katrina and Natasha Kormanik entered Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., as part of the class of 2008. Both are 2004 graduates of Newtown High School.
