An acoustic performance will run from 8 to 9 pm, and then the remainder of the night will be filled with bongo and DJ work.
*ROOMFUL OF BLUES will celebrate their new release with a show in Danbury next month. The horn-fueled, jumping, swinging, award-winning band, touring in support of their new Alligator CD, Hook, Line & Sinker, will perform live at The Palace Danbury on Saturday, October 22.

*Fairfield Theatre Company has announced two new shows it is sponsoring at The Klein in Bridgeport, and tickets are already on sale.
TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND, with SCRAPOMATIC opening, will be headlining on Saturday, October 29. Those tickets are $35 go $85, with FTC members receiving $5 discounts on each ticket. Also Rock nâ Roll Hall of Fame legend ALICE COOPER will return to Connecticut on Saturday, December 3. Those tickets are $40 to $75, with FTC members being offered a $10 discount for the floor seating and $5 discounts on balcony seats.
In addition to these two shows, FTC will host a performance of BILLY GENUARIO on Wednesday, November 2, in its StageOne theater. This show, âRockers and Crooners,â will serve as a benefit for the state chapter of The Alzheimerâs Association. Tickets are $25 ($20 FTC members).

STING will bring his Back To Bass Tour 2011 to Connecticut this fall, and those tickets will be available Monday morning. That show is scheduled for Monday, October 24, at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford. Tickets are $55 to $131, and also available through the Live Nation website.
*Mohegan Sun Arena will put tickets for a November 18 stop on JAY-Z and KANYE WESTâs Watch The Throne Tour on sale Friday morning as well. Priced from $145 to $250, those tickets will be on sale at 10 am through TicketMaster vendors. The arenaâs box office will begin offering tickets on Saturday.
