Mary Panciera

Loving Mother And

Grandmother

Mary Panciera, 94, of Newtown, died September 16, at Masonicare at Newtown. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., September 27, 1916.

She was the wife for 49 years of the late Mario Panciera. She moved from New York to Danbury in 1976, and after the passing of her husband she moved to Nunnawauk Meadows.

 For 20 years, Mrs Panciera was active in many of the social events and participated in many of the activities of the community. An ardent walker, she loved her new home and the beautiful Connecticut countryside.

Her daughter, Margaret Christine Garriepy, and her husband Eugene, of Sandy Hook, and her son, Paul Panciera, and his wife Sarasvati, of Granby survive Mrs Panciera. Two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, September 21. She will be interred with her husband privately at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, N.Y. Arrangements are in care of the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown.
