Harvest Festival In Monroe

MONROE — The United Methodist Church of Monroe, 515 Cutlers Farm Road, will present its Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 1.

The festival starts at 10 am and runs until 3 pm, rain or shine.

Highlights include homemade crafts, live music by Liz McNicholl of the Celtic/bluegrass group The Crickstones, children’s games and crafts, used books, and more. Attendees will be able to enjoy a lunch of smoked pulled-pork sandwiches, smoked ribs, hot dogs, baked potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, apple pie. and apple fritters. And for anyone on the run, there will be food to go, including apple crumb pies.
