Gavin John Kallal Hale

Irene S. LaRoche and David Hale of Sunderland, Mass., both formerly of Newtown and 1992 graduates of Newtown High School, announce the birth of a son, Gavin John Kallal Hale, August 19, at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, Mass.

Gavin was 21¾ inches in length at birth, and weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces. He is the brother of 3-year-old Teagan Margaret Kallal Hale.

Marge LaRoche of Florence, Mass., and Art LaRoche of Fairfield, Conn. are the maternal grandparents.

Paternal grandparents are John and Valerie Hale of Warren, Vt.

Nicholas James Laughlin

Becky Trosan and Matt Laughlin of Newtown proudly announce the birth of Nicholas James Laughlin, born September 12, at Danbury Hospital.

Nicholas weighed nine pounds, six ounces, and was 22 ½ inches in length at birth.

Mike and Marje Trosan of Newtown are the maternal grandparents.

Nicholas is also welcomed by paternal grandparents Bill Laughlin of Oxford, and Claudia DiDona of Newtown.

Joseph and Barbara Trosan, of Port Orange, Fla., are the maternal great-grandparents.

Paternal great-grandmother is Maureen Laughlin of Georgia.
