Annual Newtown Road Race To Be Held On October 1

The sixth annual Newtown Road Race event, featuring a 5K race and Kids Run will be held Saturday, October 1 â at 9 am beginning at Dickinson Park.
The race, originally scheduled for September 3, was postponed due to the aftermath of Tropical Storm Irene.
Runners may sign up in advance for $20 or on race day for $25. The Kids Run fee is $5, with a maximum of $10 per family.

Those who sign up in advance may pick up their race packets, which include bibs, T-shirts, and timing chips, at New Balance, 83 Stony Hill Road in Bethel, on the Thursday and Friday before the race.
