Walking Tour

Of Litchfield

LITCHFIELD — During October, Litchfield Historical Society will offer a walking tour at 10 am on the first and third Saturdays of the month.

On October 1, the tour will begin at the Green, stop at the Congregational Church, and then continue up North Street. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the evolution of the town while seeing examples of homes and businesses from several periods. Discussion will consider how the town’s architecture and landscape have changed over time.

The tour will last approximately an hour and a half.

The walk will begin at Litchfield History Museum, at the corner of South and East Streets. Cost is $7 per person.
