Boys U14
Sherman 3, Newtown 2 â Adam Buccino and Andy Lapple each contributed a goal. Zach Dlouhy controlled the offense while the midfield was led by Matt Baier and Matt Iassogna. Dan Greenwood and Ben Miles played well on defense in front of goaltenders Ralph Sergiovanni and Xhulio Halili.
Boys U13
Strikers 3, Brookfield 3 â Kyle Moore notched a hat trick to lead the Strikers in a draw. Daniel Lynch notched two assists and Daniel Hufziger (off a corner kick) had one. Ryan Pasko, Michael Renz and Sam Grainger controlled the midfield.
Girls U12
Power 3, Berkshire United 0 â Molly Mahoney, Meaghan Carney and Jessica Jowdy scored to lead the Power to the win. Kendall Svanda and Kelley Gaston had assists as Hannah Maret played well at midfield. Brooke Liefels and Cassie Fallon anchored the defense as Svanda and Stefanie Clavette shared the shutout in goal.

Litchfield 2, Force 1 â Joe van Veen scored the lone Newtown goal off an assist by Sean Burson. Josh Gilbert did a great job in goal. Chad Cullens, Tommy Stewart, and Jimmy Mooney played great defense while Chris McGowan and Thomas Healy really hustled at midfield.
Force 2, Watertown 1 â Justin Brophy and John Imbimbo scored to lift the Force to the win. Joe van Veen had an assist. Austin Puleri did an awesome job as goalie as Travis LeBlanc and Trevor Carey were super on defense. Peter Ovendorf and Francis Afriyie controlled the midfield.
Girls U11
Flash 1, Brookfield 0 â Christina Gould scored the lone goal in the first half to lead the Flash to the win.
Boys U11
Cobras 1, New Fairfield 0 â Sam Langdon, Pieter Martino, Noah Sock and Matt Rahtelli anchored the defense and allowed no shots on goal in the win. Peter Kerns and Patrick Thornberg played well on offense as Eric Fiore, assisted by Connor Quinn, scored the lone goal with 30 seconds remaining.
Cobras 2, New Canaan Red 0 â Nick Barreto scored on a penalty shot and Nick Gerbo added a second goal to lead the Cobras. Defensively, the Cobras were led by Chris Erikson, Andrew Kelley, Stephen Conway, Christian Mather, and Robert Willis. Sean Elliot had the shutout.
Cobras 1, Brookfield 1 â Dan Bittman scored the lone goal off an assist from Andrew Kelley. Ian Solaski, Brendan Conway and Christian Mather provided offensive pressure. Noah Sock, Sam Langdon and Pieter Martino had good defensive performances.
Wilton 4, Cobras 2 â The strong midfield play of Nick Barreto, Chris Erikson, Eric Fiore and Nick Gerbo kept the Cobras in the game. Connor Quinn scored the two Cobra goals. Sean Elliot played well in goal.
Boys U10
Bombers 2, Watertown 1 â Robert Linden and Stephen Dullinger scored to lead the Bombers to their first win. Sam Pliszka anchored the midfield, while Austin Raftery and Taite Mansfield led the defense.
Newtown FC 0, Danbury 0 â Andrew Martinez and Jonah Muniz held the backfield on defense while Philip Healy and Doug Miller were awesome in the net for Newtown FC. Offensively, Charlie Helgren and Gabe Keogler led the charge.

Girls U14
The Unknown 2, Turf Trashers 1 â Audra Sarna scored twice for The Unknown in the win. Kaitlyn VosWinkel and Abby Blakeman were strong in the net and Grace McKinley and Katie Burns had great games. For the Trashers, Kaitlyn Connolly scored. Randi Jackson was great on defense and Meghan Condon and Alyse Brautigam played well.
Boys U14
Danbury 4, Torpedoes 0 â Ian Hripak, Mike Czarnecki, Tom DiLuoffo and Matt Rospenda played well but the Torpedoes fell to Danbury.
Beverly Hillbillies 3, The Clash 1 â Luke Shearin scored two goals and Ben Federman added one goal to lead the Hillbillies to victory.Tyler Hanna had an assist on the opening goal and was very active at halfback. Gavin Scallon was strong as sweeper. For The Clash, Austin Jones, Christian Gregoire and Andrew Bonvini played well as Steven Jarvis scored the goal.
Girls U10
Raging Fire 0, Funky Monkeys 0 â Aileen Sheluck and Libby DiDomizio were great on offense for the Fire while Rachel Zambernardi was super on defense and Maddy Good did well in goal. For the Monkeys, Jennifer Davies and Aspen Kraucha had fine offensive games while. Bethany Dubois was solid in goal and Ashley Maturo had a great in midfield.
Comets 1, Funky Monkeys 0 â Tami Corsi scored the lone goal to lead the Comets to the win. Amanda Crowell, Courtney Yapp and Megan Meyer (assist) played well. For the Monkeys, Danielle Shine and Gabrielle DeBartolomeo played well in goal as Jillian Ciamarra and Caroline Kingsley had strong performances.
Ball Hogs 0, Shockers 0 â Claire Bernson, Elisabeth Boedecker, Ashley Beckett and Sarah Craig played well for the Hogs while Morgan Macciarula, Leonie Schmitt, Emily Cannavo and Kayla Crisulla played very well for the Shockers.
Ligers 4, Bulldogs 0 â Sally Martinelli scored a goal and assisted on two others to lead the Ligers to the win. Lindsey Pearlman, Lauren Sarna and Selina Henn all scored while Hope McMorran and Siena Cicarelli played well. For the âDogs, Helene Sorenson, Olivia Korth, Grace Winans and Rachel Karnoff had strong outings.
Boys U10
Average Joes 1, Gators 0 â James Marusi scored the lone goal to lead the Joes. William Carr and Patrick Haggerty did a great job on defense and Joshua Tuffy had a great game overall. Conner Roche, Jack Beal and Zachary Pollock did an outstanding job on offense for the Gators.
Strikers 4, Orangutans 0 â Drew Sullivan scored a pair of goals while Christian Madaus and Collin Moller each scored once to lead the Strikers. Luca Imbimbo contributed two assists. Yossi Kohrman-Glaser and Wesley Morlock played strong games at midfield for the Orangutans while James Walker made two nice saves as goalie in the second half.
Pulverizing Peanuts 3, Powder Puffs 3 â Brandon Cooper scored twice and Alex Beauchemin once to lead the Peanuts. Michael Marcinek and Thomas Floros played well. For the Puffs, Tyler Ruefenacht scored all three goals as Steven Walsh and Matthew McGoldvich played well.
Boys U8
Torpedoes 3, Clash 1 â Chris Winters scored twice and Brian Grimes scored once to lead the Torpedoes to the win. Mike Czarnecki had a strong game in the midfield as Kevin Dill played superior defense. For the Clash, Stephen Jarvis scored off an assist from Christian Gregoire. Austin Jones played a stellar game between the pipes and Doug Brede played a muscular defense.
Strikers 4, Blue Dragons 2 â Spencer Tolson and Albert Dean scored two goals each to lead the Strikers to the win. Scott Anderson was very strong at defense, Matthew Pelisson was a great forward with excellent passing and Christian Morlock was wonderful at halfback. Patrick Berger scored both goals for the Blue Dragons while Charlie Fletcher was great in goal and Kyle Haas had an outstanding overall game.
Huskies 2, Scorpions 0 â Jordan Abraham scored two goals to lead the Huskies. Tremendous offensive pressure was applied by Alex Gerbo, Grant Varnum and Robbie Schreiber who all made several runs into the box. They were turned away by the fantastic goalkeeping of Colin Patrick and the Scorpions defense which was led by Jake Oliger, Vijay Makayee, and Lucas Ladestro.
Bulldogs 4, Wizards 3 â Clay Gattey scored three goals and Michael Cook added one to lead the âDogs to the win. Gabriel Barrett and Michael Bercko played all-around good games. Deegan Beauchemin had all three goals for the Wizards. Aidan Petershack played well in goal and Jack Riley had an all-around good game.
Great Sharks 5, Vikings 4 â Scott Dakofsky, Daniel Hamula, David Grossman and Kaustrav Mitra all played well for the Sharks. For the Vikings, John Carlson scored two goals while Sawyer Conrad and Matthew Matero scored one apiece. James Carney played well.
Girls U8
Mustangs 7, Cheetahs 2 â Jessica Coughlin scored three goals with the help of Madeline Sieber. Hannah Schneiderman and Julia Scarangella both played a great game on defense for the Mustangs. Brenna Kelly had an outstanding game, scoring twice for the Cheetahs with the help of Kathryn Blanco and Callan Rafferty who both played a great game.
Lady Hawks 6, Tigers 2 â Meg Korchman scored three goals while Megan Milano added two to lead the Hawks. Kailee Dunnigan also scored while Madeline Strokis played a fine all around game. For the Tigers, Katie Bedell and Emma Burns each scored a goal. Molly Begg played well in goal and Hannah Logan and Julia Rist played a great game.
Huskies 4, All Stars 2 â Sarah Lynch scored a pair of goals while Meghan Grimes and Hannah Booth scored one apiece to lead the Huskies to the win. For All Stars, Shelby Tolla scored two goals with assists by Maddie Bridges and Taylor Brinker. Lexi Rodriguez and Stella Wetchler were aggressive on defense.
Racing Stripes 5, Cheetah Champions 1 â Emily Riley scored three goals and Taylor Lafave added two more to lead the Stripes. Samantha Cannavo assisted and Tonya Tucker was great in goal. For the Cheetahs, Cassie Fischer scored the only goal. Stefanie Carr, Amanda Donovan, and Caroline Keane played overall a great game.
Dolphins 3, Tigers 0 â Emily Turco, Kelsey Muniz and Caitlyn Linden scored to lead the Dolphins to the win. Sarah Durr and Ceila Gold played great defense while Kirsten Yapp had several awesome saves on goal.
Munchkins 7, Fireballs 3 â Danielle Agugliaro and Amy Martinelli scored three goals apiece to lead the Munchkins. Emily Campbell also scored and Geralyn Klein played well. For the âBalls, Gabriella Perpignand had two goals and Marina Renzi had one. Bailey Smith was solid in goal while Danielle Mola had a fine game.
