MV Violations

Police said they stopped motorist Dennis Kimball, 30, of 27-A Walnut Tree Hill Road on The Boulevard about 6:30 pm September 19 for not having a front marker plate on the vehicle he was driving.

After investigating, police charged Kimball with failure to display a marker plate and with driving while under suspension. After processing the arrest, police released Kimball on a written promise to appear October 6 in Danbury Superior Court.

Hawleyville Collision

Motorist Shea Glaser, 16, of Ridgefield, who was driving a 1995 Infiniti J-30 sedan southward on Hawleyville Road about 6:38 pm September 16, struck the rear end of a 2003 Honda Accord coupe driven by Michel Donaty, 69, of Danbury, which was stopped and waiting for a red traffic signal at the intersection of Hawleyville Road and Mt Pleasant Road, police said.

There were no injuries. Police issued Glaser an infraction ticket for following too closely.

Mt Pleasant Road

Police report a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Mt Pleasant Road and Saw Mill Road about 7:41 pm September 16.

Motorist Alicia Solimine, 36, of New Milford, who was driving a 2004 Suzuki Aerio sedan, was attempting to enter Mt Pleasant Road from Saw Mill Road, as motorist Satira Moffat, 16, of 4 Dylan Drive was driving a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country minivan on Mt Pleasant Road, police said.

The two vehicles collided. The accident occurred on wet roads. There were no injuries.

Police verbally warned Solimine for failure to grant the right of way. Police verbally warned Moffat for traveling too fast.
