Charlotte Taffy Kachur

Christopher and Carol Kachur, Southbury, announce the birth of a daughter, Charlotte Taffy, at Danbury Hospital on August 16. Mr Kachur is a graduate of Newtown High School and the Kachurs recently relocated from Newtown to Southbury.

Charlotte joins her brother, Benjamin, 6 years old, and sister, Samantha, 4 years old.

Paternal grandfather and step-grandmother are Donald Kachur and Marty Kachur, Southbury, former Newtown residents. Paternal grandmother is Taffy Kachur, Southbury.

Lawrence and Peggy Yaskowski of Delanco, N.J., are the maternal grandparents.

Melinda Jean Ferris

A daughter, Melinda Jean, was born to Michelle R. (Manna) and Brendan C. Ferris of Newtown at Danbury Hospital on August 22.

She joins her two big brothers, Michael, 2 years old, and Cole, 6 years old.

Linda and Robert Manna, Newtown, are the maternal grandparents.

Paternal grandparents are Shirley and Charles Ferris, Newtown.

Molly Rose Clark

Elyse and William Clark of Newtown announce the birth of a daughter, Molly Rose, born September 6 at Danbury Hospital.

Molly weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces at birth.

She joins a brother, John, who is 4 years old.

Maternal grandparents are Louise and John Sylvester of Danbury.

Joan Clark of Newtown is the paternal grandmother.
