The Garden Club of Newtown will host “Gardening is Murder” by Neal Sanders on Tuesday, September 26, at 1 pm, at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.

Sanders portrays a husband’s point of view of gardening, with humor and insight from a supportive spouse. Good horticultural advice is dispensed while bad advice is debunked.

Sanders retired from the corporate world in order to be a writer of mysteries, and he has written several books that feature gardening as part of the background. Neal and his wife maintain a large Massachusetts garden as well as a blog, The Principal Undergardener. Copies of his books will be available for purchase.

There is no fee for the program, but registration is requested and available through chboothlibrary.org.
