To the Editor:

Thanks to the eight volunteers who cut invasives from the section of Al’s Trail along Deep Brook, especially to Neil Baldino who organized the Trout Unlimited crew.

The 132 native trees we planted in 2003 have once again been saved from being choked and toppled by Oriental Bittersweet, and the lovely walking path has been freed from the barbs of barberry.
