Ponder the depths of this depraved hypocrisy:

As the third anniversary of the horror that besieged Newtown in December, 2012 approaches, we’ll see an uptick in Sandy Hook visits from our elected officials. We’ll again be treated, as we were in 2012, 2013 and last year to Dick Blumenthal, Chris Murphy, Elizabeth Esty and others grace Newtown with their presence at a Memorial Mass at St. Rose of Lima or an ecumenical service at the Newtown Congregational Church.

How blessed we are to have these altruists among us, who were recently praised in The Newtown Bee “for their strong leadership and their efforts to keep our children, families and communities safe from gun violence.”  Many would say their efforts are aimed at disarming law-abiding citizens and encumbering the process of gun ownership…and the sole thing they save us from is the liberty we’d experience if they were imprisoned tomorrow. Granting the premise without debate however, it is claimed they protect us from gun violence.

They protect us…as in those capable of reading The Bee….and from gun violence only. For surely they do nothing for the 40 state-sanctioned deaths that occurred in Connecticut yesterday…or the 40 more that occurred today….or the 40 more that will occur tomorrow….and the next day and the day after that and every day until it stops. These deaths aren’t caused by bullets, but by suction curettage, dilation and curettage, dilation and evacuation. These are the killing techniques of the 41 abortion centers throughout the state where every day, 40 living human beings are murdered…innocent children whose lives are painfully and horrifically ended before they can read The Newtown Bee. Blumenthal, Murphy and Esty all carry 100 percent ratings from NARAL and 0 percent ratings from the National Right to Life PAC. Blumenthal and Murphy could care less.

On September 18, Esty cast her vote in the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (HR3504), a bill that amends the federal code and requires health care practitioners present when a child is born alive following an attempted abortion to A) exercise the same degree of care as reasonably provided to any other child born alive at the same gestational age and B) ensure that such child is immediately admitted to a hospital. Ms. Esty voted NAY….as in let the kid die…as in get back in there and finish the job, Planned Parenthood needs the kid’s lungs and liver and whatever else they can tear off and sell.

When you see Blumenthal, Murphy and Esty this December, know their hands are soaked in blood for their unwavering support of NARAL and Planned Parenthood. Forty state-sanctioned, lifeless children today…tomorrow….every day ‘til it stops. They could sponsor legislation to stop this and they do nothing. Delegate your praise to people who truly care about human life.
