P&Z Approves Minor Subdivision
P&Z Approves Minor Subdivision
The Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) has approved a three-lot residential subdivision at 154 Taunton Hill Road in Dodgingtown.
P&Z members September 21 unanimously approved the application of Mary and Nicholas Kalomeris for the subdivision on a site of more than seven acres.
In approving the property division, P&Z members placed several conditions on the development.
All heating fuel tanks in new homes must be installed indoors.
Silt fencing must be installed to prevent sedimentation problems during driveway construction.
The subdividers must provide the town with a total $17,500 fee in lieu of open space. The fee is payable in three increments, as each of the three lots are sold.
The subdividers must post a $34,200 performance bond to ensure that planned physical improvements are made, including the installation of an underground water storage tank for firefighting and the installation of building lot markers.
