Music Scholarship

WATERBURY —Young musicians in 18 greater Waterbury towns including Newtown are being invited to compete for scholarship grants and an opportunity to perform in a professional setting.

Greater Waterbury Classic Concerts, Inc. (GWCC) will hold its third annual Music Scholarship Competition on Sunday, November 5, from 11 am to 5 pm, in MacDermid Hall of Teikyo Post University, 800 Country Club Road.

There will be an audition preceding the competition, to be held on Sunday, October 22, also between 11 and 5 at Teikyo Post University. Application forms are also available at Westbury Music, 686 Main St in Watertown.
