An appreciative audience attended a Newtown Arts Festival events September 11 at Newtown Meeting House, and was not disappointed by a packed program of entertaining and eclectic selections. “Random Acts Of Chamber Music” featured performances by The Danbury Trombone Outfit and The New England New Music Ensemble (NENME). NENME members included, from left, Kristen Provost Switzer on cello, Scott Switzer on bassoon, Emily Boyer on horn in front, Gregg Baimel on saxophone, Robert Rabinowitz on flute. Pianist Phil Crevier (not pictured) is also a member of the ensemble.
