Kretz Wins Golf Tournament

Matthew Kretz, an eighth grader at Newtown Middle School, was the winner of this summer’s Junior League Golf Tournament at Southbury’s Gainfield Farms Golf Course. Junior golfers played every Monday during the summer, and Kretz accumulated the lowest net score in his fourth time participating in the tourney.
