Planning Fall Fair

The Newtown United Methodist Church Fall Arts and Crafts Fair will be held on Saturday, October 20, from 10 am to 4 pm, at Reed Intermediate School, 3 Trades Lane.

The juried fair will include a variety of arts and crafts from local artists and crafters.

The church’s Outreach Committee will also host a Bolivian Boutique sell hand sewn goods from the Bolivian village supported by the Newtown church. The boutique will feature scarves, hats, dolls, back packs, table runners, cloths, and many more hand sewn items made of Bolivian woven wool. The proceeds from the sales at the Bolivian Boutique are returned to the Women’s Cooperatives in Bolivia.

The Rotary Club of Danbury will be on hand to provide Amber Alert registrations to all children.

The fair will also include a wide variety of homemade baked goods and lunch items, theme baskets, and a silent auction.
