The Newtown High School Marching Band and Color Guard took first place in Class IV at the New Milford Home Show. The New Milford show was the first official competition of the season.
There was a second MAC (Musical Arts Conference) Competition held at Brien McMahon School in Norwalk on the same evening. The scores of all the competing bands from both shows are listed below. As is the case with the hosting school, New Milford did not receive a score for their performance.
The NHS Band and Color Guard will be performing at Trumbull High School on Saturday, September 29. The gates open at 5 pm.
