Continuing Ed Has Bus Trip Seats Available

Newtown Continuing Education has limited space available on two upcoming bus trips.

*NYC Noshing and Market Tour: Sunday, September 30. Upon arrival in New York City, participants will meet their local guide. From this point, there will be an in-depth learning experience of the New York neighborhoods, their history, and their culture… through food, including Zabar’s Food Emporium, Little Italy and Chinatown, Chelsea Market. Bring coolers to take food home to enjoy later.

This trip departs from NHS at 8 am. The cost is $59.

*New York State Wool and Sheep Festival, Rhinebeck, N.Y.: Saturday, October 20. Sponsored by the Dutchess County Sheep and Wool Growers Association, the festival offers demonstrations, sheep shows and auctions, children’s activities, and a plentiful array of food and drink. One of the biggest attractions of all is the large and tempting marketplace of supplies, tools, clothing and handcrafted items.

According to one of the festival organizers, some of 350 vendors bring their wares to this fair. Fee includes roundtrip coach and entrance to the fair. This trip departs NHS at 7 am. Fee is $64.
