IRS Seminars On Electronic Filing

HARTFORD — The Internal Revenue Service is holding introductory workshops this fall for commercial tax preparers who are interested in filing returns electronically.

All of the seminars begin at 10 am and end in the early afternoon. Dates and locations include:

October 6, Trumbull Public Library, 23 Quality Street, Trumbull; October 13, IRS Training Center, 265 Church Street, seventh floor, New Haven; October 16, Danbury Public Library, 170 Main Street, Danbury; October 20, University of CT in Torrington, 855 University Drive, Torrington; and October 27, Department of Revenue Services, 25 Sigourney Street, Hartford.

Tax practitioners who are already preparing returns electronically are invited to an open house that will be held at the start of the seminar in Hartford.
