Bark In The Bethel Park, September 24
BETHEL — Happily Furever After Rescue will present Bark in the Park on Saturday, September 24, from 11 am to 4 pm, at Bennett Memorial Park, 14 Shelter Rock Road in Bethel.
The special event is being held in memory of Tyler, the late dog of Happily Furever After Founder Jacklyn Gartner, and what would have been his eighth birthday.
“Sadly, Tyler lost his battle to cancer in December 2021. He was a true inspiration and there is no better way to celebrate his legacy and the impact that he had on the world than with a big rescue party in his honor,” said Gartner.
All are invited to the free family- and pet-friendly event that will feature adoptable dogs, over 20 vendors, food trucks, lawn games, live band, arts and crafts, raffle, face painting, a balloon artist, a henna artist, paw print and pet tattoos, cookie decorating, photo station, dog agility course, Starpups Puppucino Station, and Bethel K9 Police Department.
